Trey Smith is the oldest son of Will Smith, stepson of Jada Pinkett-Smith, and half-brother of Willow and Jaden Smith. He isn’t always seen in the spotlight of Hollywood but that doesn’t make him any less awesome. Some people are shocked to learn that Jaden and Willow Smith have an older brother, while others are just curious to learn more about Trey.
Trey Led Access Hollywood Interviews
When Trey Smith was only 12 years old, he was hired to be a special correspondent by Access Hollywood. He worked on the red carpet of the Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice Awards event which is a dream come true for most kids that age. He was able to interview Eva Longoria and Lindsay Lohan!
Close With Jaden And Willow
Trey has always been a great older brother to Willow and Jaden. In 2012, the three siblings came together to release a song called “Find You Somewhere” with the help of Jada Pinkett-Smith as their music video director. Trey was also the producer behind Willow’s song “Why Don’t You Cry”. Talk about being supportive and encouraging!
Trey’s Mother Starred On Hollywood Exes
Trey’s mother, Sheree Fletcher, was once married to Will Smith before Will’s majorly successful career took off. She signed on to star in a reality TV show called Hollywood Exes. She has since revealed to the public that there was never any animosity between Will Smith and herself, nor was there ever a bitter custody battle over Trey.
A Part In Will’s Music Video
When Trey was only 5 years old, he was the perfect choice to star in his father’s music video for “Just the Two of Us”. This song ended up reaching the 20th slot on the Billboard’s Hot 100 list with the music video gaining just as much popularity.
A Talented DJ
At the age of 25, Trey Smith has had some major success in the music industry. Some of his songs from 2010 like “Cocoa”, “Orwell”, and “Collection” are still played in nightclubs this year! He obviously got the musical gift from his dad who started making music in the late 90’s.
