Miley Cyrus Delivers A Mystifying Message About True Love

Published on October 29, 2019

For singer/actress Miley Cyrus, finding true love in life has been the biggest struggle. Her many relationships have been in the public eye for years. Following some crushing breakups, the platinum-selling star shared a very targeted message on social media.

It’s All About Love

On her Instagram Stories, Cyrus shared a photo of herself and her dogs in bed. “Happy Sunday from me & 2 stinky dogs! Waking up surrounded by animals is my favorite way to start a morning. I am immediately reminded to LOVE without conditions,” she wrote. “The best part about animals is that they are careless about the details. They live by the golden rule… Love & Be Loved. Nothing in between. No questions regarding wealth, career, talents, race, age, sex. They love back 100X… all they ask for is to be cared for in exchange for loyalty, reliability, and faithfulness.” While her message was loud and clear, Cyrus took a shot at a certain ex. “(Reminds me of someone),” she ended the Instagram post.

Is It The Ex-Husband?

Many people are pointing the finger at Liam Hemsworth. The two met while filming The Last Song in 2009. In the movie, the two portray lovers finding each other during the summer. Cyrus and Hemsworth started dating on and off for years before getting married in 2018. “I think it’s very confusing to people that I’m married, but my relationship is unique. And I don’t know that I would ever publicly allow people in there because it’s so complex, and modern, and new that I don’t think we’re in a place where people would get it,” Cyrus told Newsweek back in July.

Unfortunately, things didn’t work out between the couple. In August, they filed for divorce. “Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what’s best while they both focus on themselves and careers. They still remain dedicated parents to all of their animals they share while lovingly taking this time apart. Please respect their process and privacy,” Cyrus’ rep told People. Around the time of their breakup, Cyrus released a new song titled “Slide Away.” The song deals with a long term relationship going downhill. Many believe Hemsworth is the inspiration for the tune.

Is It The Ex-Girlfriend?

Some people might think Cyrus’ statement is about Brody Jenner’s ex-wife Kaitlynn Carter. Following the divorce, Cyrus dated Carter for a few weeks before calling it quits. “Miley and Kaitlyn broke up. They’re still friends. They’ve been friends forever and were there for each other when they were both getting separated, but they’re just not in a romantic relationship anymore,” a source told People.

Cyrus got negative reactions for dating someone so quickly after a divorce. The singer made it clear she’s not worried about the public anymore. “This dating thing is new to me, too. I’ve never been an “adult”/ grown a– woman experiencing this. I was in a committed relationship for almost all my teens and early 20’s, with the exception of a few breaks. I would like to share an activity with someone I am dating and not be stuck at home with nothing to do,” Cyrus said on Instagram. “Please don’t make this awkward for me. I am trying to make light and like always make fun of myself … get used to me dating — this is where I am at! #hotgirlfall.”

A New Love?

Recently, Cyrus has been seen with fellow singer/actor Cody Simpson. “She’s creative. She’s very passionate about what she does, and I’m very similar in that sense. That’s why we get along so well. We just have a ball, yeah, and that’s the most important part of a relationship, you know?,” Simpson told People. The two have been friends for years before deciding to take things further. If it doesn’t work out, there’s plenty of fish in the sea for Cyrus.
