For its first season, Titans showed extreme promise for comic book fans on DC Universe. Its season finale drew major attention for the appearance of Batman. Now, Bruce Wayne will appear in season two with the help of actor Iain Glen.

A Combustible Situation

For the next season, Wayne will be there to aid the Titans. Dick Grayson might not be so pleased on his helping hand. “After decades of fighting crime as Batman, billionaire Bruce Wayne is just as driven to protect Gotham from evil as he was in his prime. Needing to reconcile his relationship with Dick Grayson, the duo hope to forge a new dynamic as Bruce tries to help his former sidekick and the Titans achieve success,” producers said in a joint statement.

Take The Throne

Glen is best known for his portrayal of Ser Jorah Mormont in Game of Thrones. When it comes to the show’s final season, the actor knew it was best to end on a high note.”I felt very sad of course, but you don’t want to outstay your welcome. I think it’s the right time for us to reach our conclusions. These things have a saturation point, and although people are desperate to see the resolve and see where we go, you want people to wish it was going on, and wish to want more,” he told Indiewire.

It’s Gonna Be Super

Aside from Bruce Wayne, season two of Titans will deliver Conner Kent a.k.a. Superboy. While showrunner Greg Walker can’t say much about him, he does promise a unique take on the character. “What I can say is that we still want to take the same dimensionalized and psychologically grounded approach that we do with the other characters and apply that same pressure to Conner Kent and see what shakes out when you put a character like that through that test. You know, questions of identity, questions of powers, questions of your place in the universe,” he told Entertainment Weekly.

As expected, his trusty dog Krypto will also be joining the ride. Season two will debut later this year on DC Universe.
