Five 90 Day Fiancé Couples That Will Make You Believe In Love At First Sight

Love is as beautiful as it is unpredictable. Some couples just feel like they’re meant to be, while others take many months or even years to have confidence in their partnership. These five couples from TLC’s 90 Day Fiancé prove to us that sometimes, love at first sight can truly last.

Low-key Love

Narkyia Lathan and Olulowo Shodipe (“Lowo”) met through social media in a dating group. Both single parents, the couple hit it off at first, but saw a lot of turbulence throughout the show. Lowo had a mysterious relationship with his child’s mother, which he tried to keep a secret from Narkyia. He also gave misinformation about his location in Vietnam. These raised some red flags for Narykia, but she gave him a second chance once Lowo became more open and honest with her. Like many hot-and-cold couples, they had some trouble when Lowo moved to the U.S. to be with Narkyia. However, they seem to be making family life work now, and hope to share many more years together. While the “Low-key” couple may have some trust issues to work past, at least they don’t have to deal with a family of skeptics like this next couple.

When The In-Laws Cause Trouble In Paradise

Chantel Everett was simply looking for Spanish lessons when she met Pedro Jimeno though a friend on Facebook. However, the two really hit it off and decided to date, even though Pedro was still hundreds of miles away. It wasn’t until the two decided to tie the knot that problems started to surface. Even after Pedro moved to the U.S. to be with Chantel, he sent a portion of his income back home to support his family. While a seemingly noble act, Chantel’s family had suspicions that his intentions with their daughter were not so clean. Real drama ensued when the family hired a private investigator to see what Pedro’s past life was really like, and when Chantel’s brother and Pedro got into a fight over the dinner table. However, Chantel defended her hubby against her family, and the couple is still going strong. Who knows? Maybe they’ll get their happy ending!

From Season One to Another Plus-1

Not all 90 Day Fiance couples have on-air drama in their relationships. Aya and Louis Gattone have been happily married for some time, proving that sometimes the show really does bring the right people together. Louis asked Aya to move from the Philippines to America after a short time together, but their marriage has been one of the few that was surprisingly happy and content. When asked how they managed to stay strong after a three-month engagement, they said, “[you] love each other and never stop remembering why you fell in love, no matter how hard it may seem.” Louis had two sons from a previous relationship, but now the couple is welcoming a third baby into the world! Luckily they were on the same page about family before getting married, unlike this next turbulent couple.

The Couple Who’s Still Thinking About Family

Just like Chantel and Pedro, Mike and Aziza Eloshway met on a language learning site thousands of miles apart from each other. Aziza, a Russian native, wanted to come and work in the United States. However, she was having trouble getting a work visa. Shortly after, she opened up her friendship with Mike to a romantic partnership with the Ohio resident. Her motives were questioned by many TLC viewers, but the couple is still together. They recently ran into some problems when Mike expressed his desire for children, and Aziza put him on pause. Even though Aziza isn’t ready for children yet, there is still hope Mike might get the family he wants. We have the same hope for this next couple, who has faced a lot of hardship trying to make the family they both want.

A Family Tragedy Turned Story of Hope

Paola and Russ Mayfield were one of 90 Day Fiance‘s most popular couples. The adorable duo seemed to be a match made in heaven and stayed true to their marriage even after they faced tragedy. In Season 3 of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After, the couple announced they were trying to get pregnant. Sadly, Paola suffered a miscarriage shortly afterward. The couple was heartbroken and afraid of what this meant for the future of their family. However, Paola learned her miscarriage was caused by a rare blood type condition and could be prevented in her next pregnancy with a simple hormone shot. Hopefully, these two lovebirds will soon have the family they’ve always dreamed of together.
